I wanted to check if anyone is still seeing issues with connecting a GamePad/ Controller to PGA Tour on PC?

Based on what ive seen and how this game is being handled, i agree that this issue is probably going to go the wayward. I have already requested a refund and have been lurking and waiting to see if there are any developments to all the issues being reported. I know (better than most) that issues take time to be fixed so thats why im waiting before i even consider repurchasing this title.
My review on steam reflects this sentiment - this game and its pricetag are not justified and unfortunately will set a nasty precedent for future titles from EA and other developers. This game was clearly not ready to be released.
Mods/whoever, is there anything else that i can provide to assist? ive already provided a dxdiag with some steps to reproduce. I even went as far to delete the razor drivers and software, and it still failed to fully recognize the controller when it came to online play. To elaborate further, when i joined a friend OR i invited a friend to a private match, i had to use the MnK to do so, because the ea overlay doesn't understand how to use a controller (please see how UBISOFT handles this as they can do both controller and MnK). Once im in the lobby, i use my controller to reset the view so it shows im on a controller. I spam triggers and bumpers so that the view changes to settings and whatnot to confirm it has the controller. Once the game loads, the controller is rendered useless and the view shows MnK controls on tee off. No amount of unplugging/plugging back in will fix it as the game REFUSES to acknowledge that i even have a controller input.
So far everything is working as it should, but there are some bugs that need to be worked on like the green grid readings are way off on most courses.. but I hear a fix is coming. I was having issues using my controller when playing with others online. Well it turns out that my razer taurus game pad was causing the issue, well disconnected it and all is great.. Haven't had much crashing or anything in the last 2 days...

No I just want my character career fixed, can that be possible. Another question if it can't be fixed. If I delete the character will I get the skill points back to create a new character.. I have not done it.. just asking
Yes, I am playing the game via the EA Play trial and I stopped trying to play it a few weeks ago. Tried again tonight to see if it was finally fixed and I am still having the same exact issue with my Xbox controller on PC. It shows Playstation buttons on the UI unless I am holding an input on the Xbox controller. As soon as I let go it goes back to showing PS buttons. It is hard to navigate menus because of this and I have not even gotten to try the gameplay.
Try unplugging any additional game pads, peripherals. I have a razer game pad that was the problem. Haven't had the issue since.. now my characters career modes was removed or something. I can only get to the selection screen for what class to play. Nothing after that.. anyways hope that helped
