Absolutely 100% disagree with you beerrun, my entire network/group of online golfers don't care 1 bit about whatever your h2h is..
we all want to play a game of golf in OUR GROUP, the way its meant to be played in every single OTHER GOLF GAME that's ever been created and including those from EA until now.
the lack of this format is why the game popularity is no longer just dying , its dead, nearly everyone I know who owns refuses to play because we can't play together.
This is not some online fame grab game and never will be. so I am sorry but your rationale make absolutely 0 sense or logic.
People buy the game to play against people TOGETHER not in the no turn order rubbish, you want to play solo, go play the tournaments or quickplay.
What are the points you talk about worth? 0 they mean nothing , its a social game, you are not getting a career playing this game mate sorry to tell you.

I love turn order and much prefer it over stroke simultaneous
However due to how popular stroke simultaneous is (Sometimes I get into matches with more than 10 players) it would diverse the player base if this was implemented in Ranked
Id LOVE to see Turn based Stroke play in private matches. Hopefully that will come in a future update

All EA really needs to do is give you a button to toggle you to the player furthest from the pin and a zoom feature. I don't need to see what the player is seeing... and I think most of us could implement turn based on our own if we wanted. EA just doesn't provide an easy way to watch the player whose turn is up.

@yusd25If you're going to the Online lobby for your little buddy matches, you're in the wrong section - Online is meant to be competitive, which is why there's a leaderboard and the point system is geared towards large lobbies. If you want your friendly foursomes, stick to the Private Match section and do what you want.Nailed it!
The only issue I have with the private lobbies is that it doesn't allow you to fully control the settings for the room. You are limited to the poorly configured presets.
It would be nice to be able to control each option for gameplay and graphics, as well as limit the max number of skill points allowed for the avatar.

Again mate you're in your own world. I'm sure I've been playing online golf games longer then you've been past your teenage years,
If you had a clue you'd realise it's about the private matches but the stupid format runs across all forms of stroke rounds and leaderboards really?Mate if that's what you think matters then there's no helping you understand what "playing a game" is all about.
Online anyone can play how they want but maybe you've never had a real game of golf before to understand the SOCIAL aspect of a great game.
The only thing worth that kind of competitiveness is skins which you can't play against anyone but the preselected pro avatars. Real skins even in online we've been playing for 12-14 years and we play for real money between ourselves but hey you go get your glory from a leaderboard that gets you nothing worth some ingame items anyone can buy in the store.
Maybe you're on a console, you could use some consoling if think those leaderboards give you some kind of status. 🤣

He’s not in his own little world. The current simultaneous stroke play is a great format to go head to head with many people at once, and we definitely should not be getting rid of it.
That said, I’m all for 4 person turn based foursomes. However, I’ll only play that with people I know, not randos. When I’m playing with people I don’t know, I don’t want to wait around and watch every stroke.
P.S. There was no real need to say he doesn’t have a clue or swing some ageist epeen.
