I very like the game, I'm really tired of seeing all the bad comments from people who understand absolutely nothing about the sport of golf. I'm of the opinion that with a few small tweaks this game could be perfect.Considering I'm a career mode player, here are the adjustments I find necessary : - Fixed all the small bugs in hazard shots, playoffs etc.- Improve the animation of certain shots, a flop shot should not look like a pitch shot.- Improve partner AI decisions.- Increase the difficulty of perfect shots- Be able to choose the course for certain career mode tournaments.- Add the Ryder Cup to career mode.But the most important thing would be for EA developers to improve communication with the community. We would like to know where you are with this franchise, to know what the 2024 road map is. I'm a huge fan of the game, but I'm really disappointed in the EA team on this. The big reason for the bad comments on this game from people who want this game to be a success is that everything that has been done as an update until now seems to come from a team taken in a cave. They are not listening to the community's requests at all and it's a shame.Please EA don't abandon the many golf players out there that like this game.

Well @Mickstudio1308, I'm glad to read from a real simmer that this golf sim is the best golf sim ever made and in the market right now. It's nice to read and I have no idea why other simmers (well at least 1 of them) are complaining all the time about everything.As for still playing the game even after it's going to the vault, I agree with you there again. Many were still playing EA Rory, they like that game more than whatever HB studio was giving them. I can go even further, many (including me), were playing EA TW14 more than anything else in the market just a few months ago.And I agree with you even more, I will be playing this game for a long time if EA is not making another one for years.

@Mickstudio1308“ Increase the difficulty of perfect shots”Any chance you can elaborateDo you want more RNG?What difficulty are you playing on?What’s the point in a “Perfect” shot when it doesn’t go the same place every time?I don’t think it’s fair to ask for more difficulty on the easiest difficulty like Arcade. If you want more difficulty on Sim, then yes I would agree with it

I have the game since it was released and I could probably count on fingers of my 2 hands the number of times I hit perfect shot. I know I'm not a good player but still....Edit: Thinking some more, I hit more perfect shots on the few 3-click challenges than the total rest of the game. The challenges did have the swing meter though.

The last golf game I really liked was TW14. I am a more arcade/beginner player. I liked current PGA Tour game better when it was first released. After the introduction of lipout physics from the notorious update 3, I just got frustrated with the game and eventually traded it in. Here is a list of improvements that could help current game.1) Have options to turn on/off lipout physics.2) Have options to turn on/off RNG.3) Have sliders to Buff or Nerf any shot type.4) Have options to control wind speed like in TW14.5) Have more heads and clothing items for created female golfers.6) Have options to remove flagstick to avoid having them as hazards.7) Make all items and specs available in the store like in TW Series.

Well @Mickstudio1308, I'm glad to read from a real simmer that this golf sim is the best golf sim ever made and in the market right now. It's nice to read and I have no idea why other simmers (well at least 1 of them) are complaining all the time about everything.
As for still playing the game even after it's going to the vault, I agree with you there again. Many were still playing EA Rory, they like that game more than whatever HB studio was giving them. @Mickstudio1308 I agree and I just wished a few hints from 2k23 would make it just that much better.

EA did a TW Road to the masters game which I think was 11. that game had so much going for it, and the only thing this 1 betters that and TW14 is the graphics

@SpurS1964I only played rory game and the 2k one and this game is far better everything else. We can hope for a great new year update from a team that listen the community for the first time .

@Mickstudio1308 that's my only worry. you never see their team post very much, so we have no idea if they do listen, because a lot of complaints about the game have come from patch 3.

I'm like you I will keep playing this, and I've just purchased 2k23 and still getting used to the mechanics

I tried hard to find a way to enjoy this game, when my group refused to play it after owning it for a few days. But after months of trying to find a simulation in this game I went back to 2K23. While not perfect it offers a much better experience for the person looking for a sim.
In 2K with everything disabled... on LEGEND swing difficulty; we can expect to be a few shots under par or into double digits depending on the course. With EA on the hardest difficulties and as much disabled as possible... I was regularly -5 for most courses.
Though I will admit... in 2K23 I would love a setting between MASTER and LEGEND. Master is a bit too easy and LEGEND seems a little severe.

I don't think you have to be good at the game to recognize there are some issues with the cup physics in the game. Let's be honest, it was broken when the game was released... either the ball was in or it wasn't. There were no lip outs at all originally which was not realistic.
Now you have slow rolling balls go right over the middle of the cup, or catch an edge and break the opposite way that someone would expect.
I think it is about the only thing most people on this forum agree on. That the hole physics are broken... and that RNG influences shot making way too much.
