Road to Masters/ Serverconnection

A very frequent error, loosing connection to EA servers, seem to appear very often.

Im running fiber optics with a 1000/1000 connection and im located in Sweden.

How can You/EA run such an instable serverfarm after this many years after first release?

Here is my analogy and advise....

Im happy you are not making cars with that stability as goes for your servers ;-)

i looked up your revenue/profit and it seems like you can afford hiring people to setup your servers so they'll gain at least a 98% stability

People might not spent on the next first release golfgame you create, stability is really not giving any incentive.

  • I've got the best internet speed and wi-fi available in Canada, and I was sometimes getting cut off when wireless.  Since I got our PS5 directly lan-connected to the wi-fi, I can count on one hand the amount of times I got disconnected. I do think their server is finicky, but it's so much better than the one they had for TW14.

I wasnt aware of the cut, just looking at an overall pow.

Intresting they put a lead designer on a new PGA......

If you make the same mistake twice, only an ignorant expects a different result... some clever person said that at some point in history 🤣

    Thank you for the feedback!

Hiring people? They just laid off around 675 to cut costs.

You don't have to worry about a future installment, there won't be one. The game has been cancelled and abandoned, like some other EA games, by the CEO.  The discussion board of this game is with all the other dead games. And the lead designer of this game is now working as a lead designer of PGA 2K25.

Agreed. It's 100% EA's terrible servers.  everyone I play with on this game has the same issues losing connection to servers when online with more than 2 or 3 players.

It's a shame too because it's a really fun game outside of it feeling like the developers were rushed and/or on a severely limited budget.. If EA spent some resources on the game I feel like it could give 2KPGA a run for its money... but sadly that's not the case, and you're spot on about people not willing to give them a second chance in future installments.
