To be fair, EA Kent did say something 2 months ago.  It's in a locked thread "Will there be a EA PGA Tour 2025?

Basically, he wrote they don't have any news or updates to share with us and if they do, they will definitely let us know. The fact the just cancelled Titanfall franchise, with the layoff of another 400+ employees, has joined PGA Tour franchise discussion under More EA Games, it's safe to say we're all out of luck for anything more from EA for golf.
