Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load a game with 2 local players. Play a game and watch the scorecards throughout.
What happens when the bug occurs? You don't see accurate scorecards. They will only show one of the 2 players, likely just the 2nd player or pro.
What do you expect to see? Accurate scorecards.

Y'all. Seriously this is a bug. You broke it in last patch. While you're fixing it, you could rubber stamp custom players into the pro roster so we can play each other's custom player. Simple fix, great results. No, we don't need XP, we just want to compete. Make it so. Like the standard way 2-player console gaming was intended.
