Shots off target and shot line
(targeted at EA)
so here I am trying to play career mode for the pro pass and the game is so broken that most of my shots are 10's of yards off target and the shot line is straight most of the ti...

Why should it matter? If you execute a good shot you should expect a good result.
As you skill up, it should give good results on average shots, and great results on good ones.... and greats shots should just be that and not need to be affected by skills points.

Maybe we should encourage EA to consider changing this. I was going to say "FIX", but I'm assuming after almost 9 months this is working as they designed it to work.
I'm sure EA won't change it, it's working just like they want. It's not Pay to Win but since I got the Cameron Champ driver spec last week, it made a huge difference. I can't hit it on a dime like Arcade players want it, but it's making the game more fun with the ball going close to where I aim.
Maybe EA should take a page from 2K and have those maximum friction balls where putts are actually going in the hole, and not over the hole like the hole is not there, because in a good sim game, the ball don't go in the hole but over the hole like the hole is not there. One way to get rid of that stupid Update 3.

They were showing Rory playing EA Rory, it didn't make any difference. Both Rory and this game has power boost and mid-air spin, putting lines and some cool blue arc for ball trajectory. It's a game and far from a simulator for any PGA tour pro spending hours hitting balls on driving ranges, pitching, chipping and on putting greens.
And I read many times Tiger was very involved in his EA TW games, they had the best arcade modes we've ever seen.
