@Noya_WesaWC is one of the most unrealistically terrible courses and no real PGA Tour Tournaments are played there. This course alone has so many physics defying cases. A large portions of lip-hangers happen here.
The worst of that course is the hole 3 par 3 where I have to emulate Maverick’s mountain climb from Top Gun Maverick. In reality, only an increase of one club is necessary, but this hole needs 3 club increases to pull off a Maverick.
When winds of 10 mph or greater are in WC, the backspin is more turbulent and is dislodged like the Mic Cardi B threw on stage. If this game is like NBA Jam, there might be an NPC of Cardi B throwing the ball to the original position to simulate the excessive backspin.
@PalomaMarvel24 Yeah, it is one that could easily be replaced with an official tournament course, and I wouldn't shed a single tear for the loss.
I completed the mastery for it, wiped my shoes on the way out of the gates and swore to never return.
After reading this thread though, I think I'll keep note of other weird backspin moments and keep adding them here as and when.
- 3 years ago@Noya_Wesa I don't mind W*** C****, knowing what to expect I always hit to a flat spot on the greens usually beyond the pin.
As you play you learn how to navigate these courses. But things would be much better if the game just played more consistent and true to life.
Just because you can score low doesn't make it a good game.- Noya_Wesa3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@ELF014 I don't mind a challenge, but with the way WC plays it just feels like a punishment tournament, especially with 4 rounds of it.
On my good days, I disable as many of the assists as I can and enjoy playing the game at the little more challenging level, on my rough days I need the assists; neither type of day are good days at WC though.

I am hoping that a one round tournament option is implemented soon. Cardi Creek would be that course where a one round tournament is warranted. It is a nightmare playing 4 rounds of CC (aka WC).

@Noya_WesaThere were posts on replacing Evian and I have no problem with that course. I was able to get better at that course by taking advantage of the power game. My power game is neutralized at Cardi Creek (aka WC) along with its Maverick 3. I would not mind having a real PGA Tour Tournament like TPC Twin Cities replacing Cardi Creek. I think Cardi Creek belongs in Quick Play and Challenges Only

@PalomaMarvel24 I have a good moan about the poor quality greens at Evian, but I don't go out of my way to avoid it, because as you rightly say, once you do focus on the power game there, it becomes much more accessible overall.
