I'm sorry but i don't have this problem - the ball goes where it supposed to go - obviously there's still wind and elevation to consider, but generally i don't experience what you describe. 

For real though, there's people saying "no wind" and then go on to ramble about how their shots are inaccurate, when in fact there is no "no wind" in the game. it's always at least 1 or 2mph - which his not al lot but still enough to alter the trajectory of your shots.

My honest thought with all this then is, and i'm really sorry to say so because i hate the people that argue this way, to just get a little better.

I agree, I read these posts and I have no idea why these people are experiencing this. I don't play with any aids, I don't zoom in to aim my shot. I play the wind by "feel" after playing so many rounds I know how far to aim for a 15 mph wind. I honestly cannot remember the last time I hit it in the water. And my swings are never ever perfect. Always off by .1-.3 % usually. Maybe that's the secret? Don't hit it perfect? I dunno...

you people that arent having this issue are just lucky, seems more people have a problem then not

All of the people who “don’t get it” play on higher difficulty levels where, when it happens (and it does) they just assume they miscalculated their shot.  

Because “golf in the real world” involves “randomness”, it adds to their experience more than it takes away.  

Put the game on Arcade with all of the aides and you will see it, too.

I am happy for the Sim/Tour level players who don’t experience it. I am an arcade difficulty player and I know the Sim/Tour gamers play this game much better the me. I played this game when it first came out and I was playing well. With all updates that made the game more difficult, it has become less playable, but I have gotten better. I see posts where Sim/Tour players complain that the game is too easy and update is made to accommodate. Update 3.0 was one example where the putting became more difficult. 

By the way, Sim/Tour players flexing their muscle with their  “to just get a little better” comments to make arcade gamers look bad is rude and condescending.

The thing that gets me is when I know my putting stroke was slightly off center on a short putt with no meaningful break but the ball goes way off to the side. Doesn't happen often, but it's alarming when it does.

Pros never miss by much to either side of the hole on short putts with no meaningful break, so I don't think there should be that much of a direction penalty on short putts. Unless you do something really crazy during the stroke, the degree to which a short putt misses should mainly be based on how much your aim was off (taking the break into consideration) and how much the weight of your putt was off. 

@ELF014Thank you for your response. You are the coolest sim level player because you give great feedback and don’t put down arcade players.

Now back to your feedback, 72 yards or less is the place to head for. The RNG is worst at winds above 9 mph. I can still handle winds less than that. Regardless of wind, my short game is deadshot within 72 yards. Before update 3.0, the shots are automatic because lip outs were not yet implemented. After update 3.0, I can make 75% of my putts. I am not trying to brag, but another Sim player told me to “play a little better”. I forgot to mention the conditions. When there is no wind, my deadshot range increases to 147 yards with my approach. My best shot are the finesse, flop, pick, pitch and spinner. I can hit straighter without the wind. The only challenge I have with RNG is to get it to my deadshot range. That is the reason I like to play quick play instead of Career or Tournaments. When wind is 25 mph, all bets are off since RNG has full control.

I am sick to death of this shot dispersion nonsense, I want it gone. I should NOT be punished for a perfect, as should nobody else.

EA just make this optional in the settings, then you sort the problem for both sides of the argument.

It's probably one line of code that needs changing.

I have never, ever known a golf game to randomise a shot so much after perfect execution. It's insane, please stop this madness and give us the option to turn it ON or OFF, please EA
