The “Alternate” Bug?

So………..If I choose NOT to participate in the Arnold Palmer Invitational in order to play the “Alternate” tournament, it’s going to skip over it anyway and throw me right into the Players Championship...

    I had the same issue in the past. To be able to get to the alternate tournaments you need to create a new golfer and start at PCA Tour to get to alternate tournaments. Most alternate tournaments you could skip to next season and make sure not to win. With Banff and Wetlands, you need to make sure you don’t get an overall ranking above I think 65.

@Cowboy1963 The real problem is EA Sport's blind set up of the quests. Why do they put quest goals in a group and then block you from obtaining those goals by not letting you compete in those alternate tournaments? The simple solution for them would be to include all those alternate tournaments in one quest group instead of putting one in one group and 2 in another. I feel as though I shouldn't have to create a different character just to chase an achievement in a quest. The whole system is faulty. I have a bunch of quests I cannot complete because it requires me to win certain tournaments that it won't let me enter. What is the point of setting up a system like that? I hope the next version of this game is a little more coherent.

    This game is abandoned and there won't be a next version, EA is out of golf after downsizing by 5%. Not making enough money.

      I used to have the same optimism about one year ago. After reading about the downsizing, I knew the fate of the next EA golf game has been sealed. 2K now has the title of the Joneses for golf games
