Community Manager@RonDizzel13 For friendly leaderboards are you picturing something static in the main menu you can edit, or a personal 'tournament' mode that you can just invite friends into?
I was thinking that when you are in an online lobby with your (1-16) friends and you’re choosing the course you are going to play, each course shows a leaderboard with the best rounds for that course amongst the people in the lobby.
Or/and when a long Par 5 starts in a round for example, there is a mention of who, amongst the (1-16) players currently playing, has the longest fairway drive for that hole.Like if you’re on an actual course playing with your friends in real life.
More things to be competitive about for some friendly banter with your group of friends. (Historic closest to the hole on a Par 3, historic longest putt on a hole, etc)
Sure, you can toggle the option on and off before the round starts also.I was playing the game last night, and it’s awesome.
I was thinking Fifa Pro Clubs style, make a club that all your friends can join. Then have records for each course amongst your club members:
Best Round at each course.
Last winner at each course.
Longest Drive at each course.
Longest Putt at each course.
Etc.
Or Top 10s for each.Maybe a small pop-up during the round if you beat a record, or get a top 10 record.
Last winner at each course would be great because we just cycle to the next course every time we play, and after 30 courses it would be nice to be reminded who won the last time that course was played.
More things for bragging rights.Other than that, the game is even better than expected.
1. You have a club like in FIFA Pro clubs and you have a specific day and time once a week, Sunday at 6pm for example, on which you play the Augusta National Masters Round. The winner gets the green jacket. And they can play with the green jacket on until the next week when they play the Augusta National again. And the winner gets the jacket put on him by the previous week’s winner in a cut scene.
And you can do the same thing for other trophies.You can play Augusta National any time, but once a week for the green jacket. With no putt read.
If anyone leaves the club, they abandon all their trophies and records and jacket if they have it.
I'd like to see the close-up views of the player after every shot in the Coaching Academy removed. They slow everything down and really don't add anything for me, and I'd bet most players. I'd probably feel the same about all challenges but I've not personally tried others yet.
- Weather. It never rains. Rain would be nice.
- 60 FPS.
- Golfer. Real stance and swing for short game. Flop shots, bunker shots, chips. No open stance for flop or bunker shots. When chipping the golfer isn't choking down on the club, and the swing looks like a bug in a normal full swing. The golfers look so robotic and stiff, there is no soft hands or hand movement. And the overall proportions is off, I don't no what it is maybe they are just too wide (look at 2K23 PGA Tour). If you play or have played, or just watched golf on TV, It is simply just too weird.
- Free movement, or more option to move or place the camera when reading puts or the surroundings. Useful if you like to play simulation mode.
At the end of each round of online play with your buddies, they should show the top 3 players standing on the 18th green holding big checks with XP on them.
doesn’t have to be a lot of XP, just different amounts for the top 3 players. 1,000 750 500?Something other than the screen fading to black and then just showing the scores.
Like FIFA Pro Clubs after the match when the show the top players.In between online matches with friends, if someone needs to step away for a couple of minutes, there really isn’t much to do that won’t take too long while you wait for them to come back.
There should be a mode where it’s just a Par-3 hole, and you keep hitting shots into it, and every time you get a hole in one you get a little bit of XP. Like 20XP or something.
Just something to do while I’m waiting like right now.- @RonDizzel13 There are all the challenges to do and you can play even just the par 3 of a course. That's not what's missing from the game
Please just make the surfaces feel like grass instead of glass. Also hitting out of bunkers and rough seems the same as hitting from the fairway. Ball travels too far and straight with little penalty.
other than that this game could be the best ever made from graphics and sound to presentation. An amazing achievement that destroys 2k. This tremendous golf game needs the above fixes to be the best.
Would love love love a personal tournament mode! I run a league for some players and have to put everything in a spreadsheet each week. Would love the ability to have it all hosted up there as an option in private matches.

Matchplay is great addition, but from day one on the unofficial discord we have asked and in the early days spoke to eastevedave for matchplay, so we could play yes against friends, but more so so we can play, SKINS, ALT Shot, SKINS, four ball, SKINS, SKINS, did I mention SKINS, ALT shot, SKINS
Come on guys we were promised all the quick play modes months ago, many of us keep trying our best to keep interest in this game, persisting with lobbies of 16, arranging tournaments in the discord and doing our best to keep people upbeat about playing , how about you doing your part and give us the game modes to make it happen, dark nights are coming and gaming numbers rise, let's get them golfing with plenty of modes to enjoy and the ability to do proper tournaments, rather than losing interest and going to the competition or other games.
Give us the game modes in quick play, playable online, more modes equals more players, equals more people for PREMIUM PRO PASS.
THIS SHOULD BE THE PRIORITY, THE REST WILL FOLLOW NATURALLY THEN, WE GET MORE FUN, YOU GET MORE MONEY, SIMPLES
I have not been able to play this game for over a month. It will not let me and my friends start a private online match.
It kicks everyone out and the game crashes when we are in the lobby.
It happened before the previous update, and then got fixed, and happened again after the last big update and it has not been fixed.
