@Ultrasonic_77 Apologies, I'm new to the forum and still finding my way around the menus.
My main request is: VR
Good graphics, good physics and Virtual Reality.
Crossplay - this has to be a priority feature for a $70 next gen game. I have friends on all platforms and too many of us are idle waiting to purchase until this feature drops.
Add more private match game modes, stroke play is all we have?
Short term:
- Make it possible that 2 or 4 local players can use customized characters on one account and that their matches are used to progress these characters. Make all game modes accessible to local play.
This is a social game & while it is nice that I - in theory- could play online with friends further away, I always played golf games locally with friends while hanging out together.
This game barely has any features for this and feels like 3 steps back from golf games of the past. I mean, we had better offline / local play in 2004!!!
- Better tutorials for onboarding people to the game. I know it is hard to believe, but if you want to make the game thrieve, it has to be accessible in nature. Giving people the challenges to hit a ball to the fairway with 100% power is a nice tool, but it is useless if you do not teach people how to swing correctly and hit those 100% for example.
- Remove lag from menus. Waiting almost a second for a menu to rotate is just poor.
- Implement PC controls beside a gamepad that do not feel like some Japanese game developer had to port a game to PC in his off time.
Mid term:
- Clean up your code and improve performance. On a 3070 / 11700K and 32 GB of DDR4 in 3440x1440 not even maxed out I can only get between 30 and 50 fps regularly. That is way to low, even if the game looks allright. Other games did that better. But I guess that comes with Frostbite (why the hell did they chose this engine for the game?)
