I've had very dark/overcast skies at two or three of the courses I've played in the daily tournaments.
Edit: the free entry daily at Tara Iti as I type this is an example.
@Ultrasonic_77 Interesting. I've spent much of my time grinding the challenges. So it stands to reason that the weather is "static" in those scenarios.

The free daily one is a good source of Reward Points, as are the others if you put a bit more time in. You'll also get 1000 XP per hole so still good for gaining skill points - often faster than Challenges actually if you end up spending lots of time trying to complete a particular one (as I have...) Challenges are good to learning/practicing particular elements though.
I've been enjoying the tournament mode myself 🙂.
