Hole lip outs, and show the caddy!
I'm on PC and I am really enjoying the game however the cameras arent smooth nor immersive in how they operate. I'd love to see improved camera options and implementation to really do justice to the fabulous visuals.
A panning broadcast cam where the camera follows the ball from being hit and panning to watch it fall and even a snap to landing cam along with a free cam.
I'd also love to see the addition of replays and have the option to save shots too!
Good topic

Some really great ideas here.
I'm a golf gamer that enjoys a cleaner HUD to become immersed in the beauty of the game so here's what I'd love:
- Option to toggle each and every HUD element to either show/hide or move from on course to in HUD e.g.:
- flag/marker info to side of HUD instead of on flag/marker
- Show/remove: button help (I know this is in progress), full feedback not just the distance/power feedback
- Hide the landing zone when scouting, and marker for that fact
- Overhead hole map:
- Allow to zoom to green view
- Show your position and direction of current aim like you would on a GPS system
- I'd like to be able to see the ball better once hit and viewing from the golfer's view (no follow cam)
- Green - great idea mentioned about the grid only being visible when not over the ball and disappearing when you click to approach the ball - I play no grids normally so hopeful the improvement of cameras for this is good enough to do so
Big thing for me is putting. IMO HB Studios (2K golf now) has developed the best putting to date as it's all about feel which putting in real.life is. If you could develop a mechanic similar for your putting you would win a lot of players over.
In fact if you created an entire new mechanic for all shots to be based of feel and distance control and maybe implement that as a sim mode control scheme, that would be an excellent addition. I know you said you went away from partial shot making because you felt it would be too difficult for the player but I massively disagree and this would be fantastic.
For multiplayer, you need to be able to keep scores when playing against the same opponents so you can see how you match up against each and everyone. I think this was in FIFA and defo needs to come to this.
Others have mentioned stats too which is a good idea. Similar to what you'd see on a golf app to track your performance.
Other improvements:
- Increase backswing speed
- Dynamic weather - has to affect gameplay too
- Rotating venues for some comps
- Being able to move your tee position on the tee
- Less laggy menus

I had a thought for when/if you ever implement turn order in multiplayer.
To incorporate a hybrid of what is customarily done versus what you have currently implemented.
I am sure those of us that do play in multiplayer we experience people thst are slow to play, and waiting for them to make a decision and to finally execute a shot can be painful.
How about a system where you are taken to your ball like it is currently and you can evaluate your next shot. When the next player to hit in turn order addresses the ball you are given the option to watch your opponent swing.
This would allow us turn order, and still speed up the pace of play.
