My wish list:
1)Driving range or some kind of practice area. I've played golf in real life for over 20 years. I never start a round until I have warmed up on the driving range. One of the videos put out for advertising this game included a brief clip of a Top Golf range what happened to that?
2)Ability to replay and save clips of shots without having to use a 3rd party software
3)Calibration for controllers
4) Bigger variety of clothes and equipment in the shop
5) Ability to simulate the "pro" performance in challenges so we don't have to waste time waiting. That would make challenges 1000% (yes I meant 1 thousand) better.
6) A back story for the why the pro's performance is so pathetic. Something like big party last night got arrested for DUI spent the night in the drunk tank and bailed out just in time for this.
7) more realistic pro performance in challenges. I have a lot of difficulty believing a PGA pro rated in the top 10 on par 3's not only can't get a single birdie playing just par 3's but also hit the stroke limit on a short par 3
They're called challenges make them challenging not just time consuming and annoying

To funny! Optional Shot clock for local multiplayer (length of the shot clock shall individually adjustable)
and really challeging fantasy courses
like the Predator, Greek Island, Wolfs Creek, Volcana Island (from Rory) etc. These fantasy courses have been always much more challenging than the original courses.
Therefore a DLC is urgently required!
Once you get to level 50 XP should be converted to VC in some form.
