This is one giant mess. And even if it's fixed with the next patch, it's still 19 days away.

- @Katybee_1313 Bethesda, Blizzard, Ubisoft, just to name a few that are decent at hot fixing games when theres issues (sometimes with announced early patch days)
why can't EA do the same....?
and yes, sometimes "hotfixes" cause more issues, but thats what they are for, to iron out the bugs and such

If something goes wrong with a new patch like what happened with the Notorious Update 3, I would even be scared what would happen with hotfixes since hotfixes are rushed. NBA 2K24 had a hotfix gone sideways with the shooting; it took another patch to fix. WWE 2K20 had multiple hotfixes on the character faces; one of those hotfixes resulted in Becky Lynch looking like the cheeseburger character from McDonald's commercial. Since there are 19 days til a new patch, EA could use those 19 days to create some failsafe mechanism to prevent tournament scores from deleting with server issues. For now, the best workaround is to put a message at the tournaments stating that there are server issues so no one goes there until it is fixed. In addition, hotfixes are more difficult to track since they have no change notes to go with them.
