The game is practically on life support right now, I don't see them compensating for lost coins and tickets. And they don't even know who has lost coins and tickets. They're almost giving the game away at PS Store and Steam, I'm just hoping they don't give up on the game at this point. The next update will be telling.
- 12 months ago@Katybee_1313 That's why I was thinking it would be easier for them to give us the free entry fee rather than trying to go through and figure out who is owed what as far as coins and tickets. Free entry would boost tournament participation which is a good thing in my book.
Plus I'd rather play everyone's at their best even if it takes them more than a few tries. - 12 months ago
I've just noticed my pro weekly and pro seasonal have both disappeared today, is there any fix other than just spending more tickets and replaying the events?

At this point, I just hope it's going to be fixed for all those playing most if not all the tournaments.
- 12 months ago@OldManEmu1969 The only fix is to replay. Whichever score is lower your replay or the original will be the score that shows up. Then cross your fingers we don't lose more scores tonight.

@EA_IlliumCan you please let us know what the team said when you passed this along over 1 month ago? We've been playing tournaments for 11 months without issues and now for over 30 days straight, there have been bugs and glitches that make scores disappear (sometimes multiple times per week on weekly and 4-5 times per season on the seasonal) I've personally lost over 250 tickets from having to re-play events and many people here on the boards are getting 'missed rank' rather than 'winner' on many of these events when they glitch like this. You've been made aware about this as evidenced by this topic with hundreds of posts and still haven't had any kind of resolution. People are losing REAL MONEY when they buy tickets and use them to play seasonal or weekly events only to have their scores erased on a daily basis. How is this ethical to keep tournaments going with this horrible glitch still occurring?

No rewards for the weekly tour (on pc) was a frustrating one. For most players that's an expensive entry wasted and a decent payout lost.
I guess the backend dev team defected to LIV and there's no intent to fix this one.
- 11 months ago@lolwhat1234 Tournaments were my favorite part of the game, but until this is completely fixed, they should be shut down. It's not worth having the issue persist for months and people continue to lose out on tickets as well as rewards. Sad to say, but they need to do the right thing and either fix it or close tournaments for the time being.

Very disappointing this issue hasn't been resolved. All tournaments should either be closed or be entry free until it's fixed.

- 11 months ago@lolwhat1234 This is insane. @EA_Illium Can you provide and update on this? This bug started in the middle of last season when there was no game update. Seeing as this bug started without a game update, I assume it can be fixed on the EA server side of things without a game update as well. Please help up us out here.

I think it's becoming obvious they're unable to fix it, something in the server caused the bug. Probably a server update, like in another game I played where we were all unable to renew the terms of service, we were caught in a loop. We ended up accepting the terms of service on another EA game to access the server and to play the game as usual.

@Katybee_1313I don't know why it wouldn't be fixable but if that is true, EA should have issued a statement in-game about the issue and told all users how they should proceed so at least every person is aware of it. Instead, they are acting like nothing is happening and everything is working normal. It's dangerous behavior on their part by continuing to ignore the issue.

It's not even a worst case scenario because we know those scores still exist and it's possible for players to get them back in the leaderboard - so long as the tournament can still be re-entered at the point they get erased.
If they can't or won't fix the leaderboards, then just rewrite the rewards processing query to make sure all of those missing scores are included and everyone gets their rank + rewards.
That's no more than a person-hour of engineer time. QV even have time to test it now that the shrubbery at Kiawah is fixed. Why, after four weeks, is there not even a workaround?

For what it's worth, there's probably more chance of this leaderboard issues to be resolved, than I have chance to one day play this game without those ugly black socks.

@lolwhat1234I agree with you. You made this topic 1 full month ago and they had 30 days or more now to apply any kind of simple fix. As you said, there are a number of ways that they could fix this and it wouldn't take hardly any effort. There are moments where I wonder if there is a single employee left on this game. This most recent update where they dumped all of the 2024 content in 1 update is a sign to me that the game is likely over and they just wanted to give us all that was left before riding into the sunset. I hope I'm wrong, but that's the vibe I get.

I'm sure it would have been fixed a long time ago if it was just an easy fix. Or at least, fix in this last patch. At this point, it's up to all of us if it's worth the aggravation to continue to play those tournaments.

- 11 months ago@EA_Illium Just so you know, people have already lost out on hundreds of tickets and hundreds of thousands of gold coins from this glitch, so it's pretty severe and hope that EA will compensate everyone affected when all is said and done. I appreciate you passing this along and responding, but it's been quite a while already since you first passed this information along and there hasn't been any acknowledgement from any EA social media accounts yet. Some kind of official statement from EA would be very much appreciated.

@packattack04082 @lolwhat1234 @Katybee_1313 @jack2k65 The 1k tournament going missing is very concerning as it means we are going further in the wrong direction. I had a schedule down and knew what your tournaments may go missing and was able to mitigated some of the damage caused by lost tickets. That is not the case now!
@packattack04082 you stated some numbers as far as lost tickets and coins. I want to make sur@EA_Illium knows that those numbers are per player and not the games community as a whole. The longer this issue continues the more of a liability it becomes on EAs end. Tickets can be purchased through micro transactions in game through the store. Those tickets have a real world monetary value 1 TICKET IS EQUAL TO $1. If total all the missed tickets from the 2k 9 hole tournaments plus the entry and single replay into events the last 1.5 months plus lost coin rewards that could have been used to purchase tickets we are looking at $250 ish per player. That's just a single replay considering many players replayed multiple times to have their scores show that $250 dollar number could be way higher. $250 x (your entire tournament player base)= do more than pass the information on. It's an oh $ hit moment we should do something ASAP!
Please feel free to correct me if my math is was off somewhere.
