Unable to progress/continue in Career Mode (PGA)

So I started the career mode and got to play 2 rounds, when I try to continue and click on the next round it just makes a beeping sound but won't let me start a round. I've spent the last hour and a half trying different things and nothing works, I've repaired the file, reset the PC, nothing seems to work

    Thanks for letting us know about issues with Career Mode not progressing or allowing you to continue in PGA Tour. 

    If you have not so far please let us know the following:

    Platform:

    PSN ID/Xbox GT:

    Region:

    Are you getting an error message?

    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?

    Is anything else happening?

    Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:

    If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...

    If on PC, please share a DxDiag (Allows us to get PC Spec's, Check for errors/crashes, and look at drivers)

    We'll be forwarding it to the teams here to aide them and when we find out more information we'll update this post.

    Think I have the answer (well it worked for me on PS5).

    Go to your saved data in Settings > Storage > Saved data and delete anything in there to do with this game.

    Obviously you will lose any progress and have to start over but it should get you started again rather than getting the spinning circle every time.

    This is for people who are stuck on the career choice screen.

    Can't progress in career mode to round 4 of the Alberta open. I'm on xbox and it just freezes and the music stops playing and it's stuck on the screen where you can change the event settings. I have tried closing the game many times and re opening it and even tried skipping the event a few times and it just freezes when I try to skip as well. This is frustrating and needs to be addressed asap
