UNLIMITED attempts

And today, the leader on random 4 is -8, no par 5 or reachable par 4 so that's 4 hole outs, including 2 hole in one. LOL!

I had to replay that one, I hit the pin on the 2nd hole and ended up with a long rainbow putt I missed. -3 had me 281 on the leaderboard.

2 more reachable par 4 on the Random 6 holes. The way EA keep going with forward tees and reachable par 4 since what seemed forever, EA really want users to try over and over again their tournaments.

Oh yeah, those reachable par 4 are catchy and EA knows it. My sister tried close to a dozen times to shoot -8 yesterday on that random 6 before finally giving up.  Every time she nailed one of those greens, she ended up with a long huge rainbow putt or really sharp break almost impossible to make.

Anyway, it really looks like the game is on co-pilot with no dev looking after it, those unlimited tournaments setup are here to stay. And it's only a matter of time before the game  breaks and there's no more tournament like the other EA golf games in the past.  I'll enjoy playing tournaments for the few more months they will be working.

I guess for some, every reasons are good to be miserable, hate the game and bash on the few having fun.

Another -8 and two -7 in random 4 so far today in 15mph wind, some have become so good. I'm happy with just -5.  LOL

Now there are half a dozen at -7. Luckily for us, our -5 is good enough for 52nd and giving us the Win.

And this morning, EA is giving us the perfect set up to practice hole outs.

Game breaker? You're literally the only one constantly complaining about it, nobody else really care. There are so many still playing, I had a bad weekly Pro 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was tied for 181 and still ended up inside 20% for the win.

Agree there. They constantly complain because they are not in leaderboard. If the unlimited attempts are going in their favor, they would not be whining about it.

It is totally not cool to be name calling others who still enjoy playing the game. I don’t log in as much, but when I saw this, I needed to make a reply.

He reminds me of the few in TW14 starting their own Country Club and not accepting any member. Like that they would finish 1st every week.  Anyway it's ironic to read sandbagger complaining about other sandbaggers.

I'm always amazed the scores @packattack04082 shoot in there, doesn't matter if it's arcade or sim. No wonder he has 2355 Wins and a few world in 2369 games. Now that's a great player not constantly complaining about others, even if a few shoots better scores than him from time to time.

OMG. This is absolutely classic. If their Country Club comprises of players like me, they would still be in first place. If their Country Club comprises of great players like Pack Attack, we would for sure see many whine posts about Country Clubs. I think the One Man Country Club would perfectly fit their needs.

Oh I agree totally, @packattack04082 is the best player. And he is not selfish either, somebody months ago started a thread about tips from top players, and he was willing to help, even showing how he built his golfer. I built my second golfer like that and it has helped me a lot.

@Mark_Miwurdzis also a great player and always seem willing to help in the Technical issues thread. I'm sure it's very appreciated.

I see the leaderboard with so many between -22 and -20 in the weekly Pro leaderboard with 12mph wind, so awesome.  Michelle, you must be so proud with just -17 in that tournament, I'm not even sure I want to play this.

OMG, I had to concentrate so much, I was exhausted after that -17.  This was just brutal, unlimited or not, there's no way I was going to play that again no matter what I shot.

I ended up playing it, had a miserable time. Shot -15 tied for 89th with some good players.  If some want to play that a dozen times to get better scores, they can go at it.

this UNLIMITED attempts is the worst thing... you have people that can't stand being in second place EVER! even if their score is a "winning" score... I personally hate playing over and over and over all because some can't stand being in second.

should've been ONE attempt from the get-go....

It sounds like the pot calling the kettle black, both of you trying their hardest to have their gamertag on top of the leaderboard. I'm so glad I don't have that obsession on a stupid game.
