It seems that it's either through challenges or the store but the store changes on a somewhat regular basis with different feature items and as far as I can tell there's no way to see all of the available gear in one place which is frustrating. I think there were 4 iron sets when I looked yesterday which have all disappeared now for other items.
@svgnKlute agreed, this is so frustrating. I had the same experience. I saw clubs I wanted to buy and then post-round they were gone.
