Sandbagging 1.0 - intentionally aiming at a bunker to achieve sand saves quest and ruining your own score and handicap
Circus golf - idiot course designers that not only created absurdly unrealistic sloping and undulation on many courses but then will place pins four inches from said slopes. See Round 1 at Southern Hills PGA for example. Also see many holes at Chambers Bay.
Lowering my golfing IQ- overarching mindset that occurs when I idiotically chase a daily goal/quest by trying to intentionally achieve pars (aiming at rough, missing short putts, aiming at bunkers, taking less club).
glass half empty update- creating an update around a great event that is horrendously done with no real satisfaction. See Ryder Cup update and Open Championship update.
Cheesing: Needing 5 long putts for the daily quest. Go to Quick play Lighthouse Pointe, choose all 5 Par 5, picking Red tees with Thursday pins to make it easier. Hit the ball at least 30 feet to the flat spot where it's all flat to the pin.

This was EXACTLY how I used to do those quests. No requirement for how they are done, just that they are done. Rip it from the Reds, hit approach to flat spot on the green hammer it in. Seems like that garbage Wetlands course was also good for this type of approach.

This week they want at least 36 holes at Wolf Creek for 300 tokens. Wolf Creek is not on the schedule and they don't give tokens for Quick play, that's not happening, 18 holes is giving 360 tokens in career mode. No idea who is thinking that stuff.- PalomaMarvel242 years agoSeasoned Ace

”Wasted” Management Invitational Open = Playing 36 Holes at Cardi Creek (aka Wolf Creek) in Career Mode to get a meager 360 tokens from the quests. Other games give higher payout for a higher degree of difficulty like this quest.
Dollar Tree Invitational Open = Playing 4 rounds of either one or both tournaments at Cardi Creek dealing with ball physics of Dollar Tree quality. Before Update 6.0, I had to play all four rounds and playing there was a complete nightmare; ball flies around like Cardi B throwing the mic.
