Every golfer, even the pros, have their strengths and weaknesses and that's what the XP's are all about. To decide where do I see my strengths and where my weaknesses.
Or what kind of golfer do I want to be in the game.
A superhero golfer with full XP's? Really?
Amen sir

@EA_IlliumTo be honest, the leveling system seems a little short sighted. I have had the game a little over 2 weeks and have also maxed out my character at level 50.
I am working through the challenges but have stopped because the main reason for it was for the payouts.
The career mode could be fun as was rather well thought out overall. However because the game is so easy to play even at the hardest swing levels, career mode becomes a birdiefest to make it competitive and there is no fun in that.
I mainly enjoy playing multiplayer with friends on a nightly basis and EA does not provide a very good forum for that. We are doing it put everyone is complaining how easy the game is. We pretty much hit every fairway and green and have a birdie putt on every hole.
Getting up and down is a given with the flop and pick shots and 3 putting is almost nonexistent.
Plus everyone complains about the lack of turnorder, and the ability to watch each other hit the ball.
The game was fun when getting to know it but it lacked substance in the gameplay mechanics to make it challenging in the long run.
Even going back to a new player with no skill points the game is no longer difficult. Once you understand the gameplay the mechanics are not difficult enough to make for challenging golf.Have you tried it without shot and putting meters?

That's good to know, thanks. It's hard to know how to balance this sort of thing for games companies given the huge variety of players for any game. My gut reaction is that this doesn't sound like a crazy balance to have struck between being achievable for most but not stupidly easy. Noting that the intention is that getting to this level just opens up the full capabilities of the game rather than having reached this level somehow being the equivalent of completing the game.
- @sjsharp2010 By now you have got the 3 click? I'm 60 Years younger and that 3 clicker makes my life so much better
@EA_IlliumThe game desperately need turn based ranked match play and 4 ball / alt shot online
I've had the game for a while one character is at level 50, I created a girl player and she is going on level 52 I thought level 50 was the max? Also still unable to use plasma trail in the game again to purchase feature cost 40000 coins suck I can't use it.

I play with everything disabled that can be, along with the mechanics at the hardest levels. So yes, no meters... no green grids... no skill points and no specs. A stock 67 character.
I get random shots that cannot be explained, my drives seldom reach hazards. Getting up and down around the hole is still fairly easy... since chipping and pitch shots are still pretty accurate. And putting though not perfect will go in more oftem than not if you hit a good shot.
But the game overall is not very good representation of golf.
Putting is extremely easy to lag the ball close to the hole once you get a grasp of reading the slope.

There was a patch that increased the level cap to 60.
