Nope, typical to think i havent checked drivers etc...
Just cant face more unreliable games from this lot anymore. Whats happened to EA?

Is anything else happening? No
Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: Re-installing the game, repairing the installation of the game, repairing all installations of Visual C++, updated all graphics drivers, re-installed all graphics drivers, created rule exceptions in firewall for all EA services, ran system file checker on PC, cleared EA app cache, restarted computer multiple times throughout all of this, still receiving the same error message everytime. Screenshot of error message attached.

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for the information so far, if you are still running into this issue would it be possible to get an EA App Error Report? (Please share the Report ID # in this thread)
- Click the menu icon (it looks like 3 horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the app, hover over Help, then click EA Error Reporter.
- Choose the Type of problem you’re having.
- Tell us about the issue you’re having in the Description of problem box.
- If you’re running the Error Reporter as part of your EA Help case, include your Case Number in the Support Ticket Number (Optional) box.
- You can find your Case Number in your cases on EA Help or inside any support emails we sent you about this issue.
- Check the box next to Share diagnostic information when report is submitted.
- Click Submit report and wait for it to complete.
- Write down your Report ID for safekeeping.

Which client are you launching PGA from? PC, BF2042 works fine on the EA app.Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? 21st April, same. Just started play subscription after a few months off.
Is anything else happening? Just says can't launch and try again

This is the exact issue I am having. All my other titles launch fine in the ea desktop app. Pretty poor response from EA to be honest. This appears to be a widespread problem.

Same problem here - glad I got a free trial of Play and didn't waste any money on this. I was trying to decide between this and 2k and this helped me make my decision. Thanks EA!
