weekly tournament

Geez man, you complain about everthing...if the sky was blue, you would be whining because it wasn't raining. Would you prefer the stupid Lighhouse Pointe venue this week?...Augusta is probably the majority of players favorite course, so why not have it the venue again, especially on a week where is not a PGA tour event.

Guess he forgot this game is running on autopilot the only EA people that even comment any more are forum moderators. Everybody else checked out they just forgot to turn off the lights!

@SlimDown57  Yeah, the game is definitely on autopilot. And if I go with EA Rory and other TW games in the past, tournaments are the first thing to end. It's only a matter of time. At least with TW14, we were still able to have Country Club tournaments for a few years.

The dreaded 'No data available', tournament undefined on EA Rory. I was shocked how early tournaments stopped working in both EA Rory and TW14. I wouldn't be surprised they stopped working by this time next year.

If game is on autopilot, it is still better to have Augusta as the tournament instead of Wolf Creek with 25 mph winds. Looks like the song “Closing Time” will be playing for this game any time soon. When we see the dreaded “No Data Available”, there will be a huge reduction in Rage Posts.

There was 2 or 3 angry players still writing after EA stopped EA Rory and making golf games, their answer was to shutdown the discussion board totally.  Could well be what's going to happen by this time next year. One less board for the Community Manager to look after.

Got to say, there's nothing arcade about this weekly tournament.  This is brutal and not much fun. Guys at -14 are in the top 100 on PS5.  I had one of those round in the past, I barely made top 500.

Arcade mode seemed to disappear after the Notorious Update 3 (aka The Simmers 3). If arcade just stayed arcade instead of having an increased difficulty due to a Simmer’s whim, there could still be a player base where the game might not be abandoned.

The mode is mostly fine, but it's not like it used to be in the TW series. Arcade was a game of almost no wind and hole out. This week tournament, EA slapped 12mph wind on Augusta where if we end up on the wrong side of the hole, it's big sharp breaking putt almost impossible to make.  I even made a bogey at 9th, by somehow hitting the pin and my ball rolling back halfway down the fairway. I'm far from the only one with a bogey, there's at least 6 golfers on the Top 100 with a bogey this week... on ARCADE set up.
