I'm unsure if it's down to playing different courses or a change but I have found myself having to lay up a couple of times from the rough or bunkers recently, although the latter was more due to the bunker being too deep than the lie. I have zero skill points in approach recovery should this matter but then so should anyone who thinks the rough is too easy. Not investing in short game recovery would make escaping from bunkers harder too, including by removing the Pick option.
I agree with the general sense of the game being a good start that could be developed into something even better, and for now I remain hopeful that in time we may find this happens. I think many underestimate how much time and effort may be needed for changes to be made, and little more patience may ultimately be rewarded.
How come less and less people accept perfection these days, Everyone seems to be happy with mediocrity. You pay maximum dollars for it. Why?
and why is PS5 discounted and not Steam?

Let me know if you ever find a perfect game... Nobody wants to play games with bugs/major limitations but if we all only played games with no problems we'd be playing nothing.
Re. your second question I wonder if the lack of 60 fps on PS5 has impacted sales more than EA would like.
- 3 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 or we would just be playing the game 2 years after it should have been released, but shareholders need their returns.
Yes, good point, that could be PS5 reason. - 3 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 No, I think people have caught wind of the fact they released a beta of this game and charged top whack for it.
