Wondering About the Swing

I use the stick swing and know that the top number is the speed of your downswing and the bottom number is length of your backswing.  In addition if these two number net out to zero then you do not lose any power.  I have the swing difficulty set at hard.

First off the movement of the stick does not seem to be synchronized very well with the length of your backswing or the speed of your downswing, especially the downswing.  I know you can move the stick toward the left or right and the ball flight will be impacted accordingly but there doesn't seem to be any effect on ball flight as a result of tempo.  When I say tempo I mean the comparison of the speed of your backswing vs. the speed of your downswing.  For example too fast of a downswing compared to your backswing should promote a pull.  Conversely, too slow of a downswing compared to your backswing should promote a slice.  However it doesn't feel like I have any control on my shots, especially the approach shots.  It's easy to hit fairways since they are a much wider target then an approach.  I have the draw and fade option activated but it is almost impossible to move the stick on the respective lines.

I have played golf games including one where there was no feedback on your swing where I could "feel" where my swing was off but not in this game.  Approach shots almost seem random although I am not sure what the effect of wind and lies are.  I assume that the effect on a lie corresponds to real golf so I adjust my aim accordingly.

I also think the putter is not syncronized that well with the movement of the stick.  2K23 has done a much better job on their putter synchronization.

I hope that EA monitors player comments and continues to fix "issues" and add options such as turn based multiplayer, delete the triple bogey limit, add stats for each round including the total feet of putts made and allow us to save rounds like you can during a tournament.
