EA Staff (Retired)Hey @evilstans When you have a moment can we try going through the following steps and check if this continues?
- Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
- Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
- Check for updates
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open you're Xbox NAT Type
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
- Persistent Storage
- Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
- Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage
- Alternate Mac:
- Go to settings > Select General > Then Network settings
- Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear
- Select restart
Hi, It didn't help. However with some testing, it seems to be the game not the actual input:
The menu tab indicator changes, but it takes a few seconds for the tab to load. The tab crash was from the store tab - which seems to have fixed itself.
The input on the swing baffles me - everthing else works and responds but just the swing. i looked at other post and adjusted the swing speed, but I can't say this actually helped.
Been having this problem myself, as I'm typing this my game has froze l, it seems to be almost every time I go to the 'Mastery' tab in 'Quests' & as for the Swing Lag, that's been infuriating me since day one (April 4th) for the life of me I can't figure why it does it, first I thought it was a connection issue due to lag in the menus, it's not, then I thought it was someing to do with my pad, changed to a different pad, then a wired one, still no joy, but it's becoming more & more constant as I play the game & it totally destroys your shot when it happens as it deems you as playing an extremely slow shot causing huge power/distance loss & massive directional change...
Tried the suggestions in the tutorial, but the swing lag is so bad in the 3 click mode the game is unplayable, I think there may be input lag on everything, menu seemed to have a delayed response as well. Also my game has not been updated. Was there an update for xbox because it is not there.
30 fps in a game where timing matters in 2023 is crazy, praying for 60 fps option so i can enjoy the game
