Account lost

    There is little we as player can do to solve the problem.  You will need to contact EA Help Center by clicking the link at the bottom of this page and seek for assistance.  Please note you will need to provide your old (original) player ID to the advisor to have a better chance of locating your old game saved progress from the backup server.

Kendrick, did you succeed in getting your account restored? I’m experiencing the same issue -forced update after I opened the game and it deleted all my progress and my user ID. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the user ID was different and back to day 1. Very disappointing after playing for years and spending money on plants. I’ve contacted EA but no response se yet (plus the case says “waiting on player” so I’m not even sure someone at EA will read it. No idea why it’s waiting on me cos I did all that was asked of me). Also, how ridiculous they need the player ID, who would know to screenshot that?! Why isn’t an email address useful in restoring an account?
