This just started happening to me. After an Arena match or even when I'm switching to a different screen, I will get an ad. No warning. NO REWARD. Just an unwelcome ad popping up. Has happened 3 times now in the last 2 days. Think it happened before I installed update but can't swear to that. Don't recall them including a way to terminate the ad either. Wassup with that EA?
It's already been reported on reddit and Haemophilus says says she will look into it.
A region might have a problem but now EA does a soft rollout one region at a time so the problem may be fixed by the time the problem hits your region.
The latest update became compulsory today🇬🇧 but i can remember when EA did an update with major changes (they were trying to sync apple and Android devices at the same time) and every region had the same problems at the same time. CHAOS worldwide.
I've not done it myself because I'm never going to have an ios device but i believe from what has been posted that the bugs have been fixed.
Glad they're looking into it. Just happened 3 more times. Once on "Save and Exit" and twice after Arena match. Messed up my auto reload.
USA is now also forced to update Arena !
Will do so later today. Oh joy, more ad issues just in time for the Holidays !!
Is that something new to you? Cause I have this ever since the start of my pvz2 journey....and now i am just so used to it....that i didn't know it is abnormal to have it XD
The making updating compulsory by blocking access to Arena started a few months ago, prior to that you didn't have to update if you didn't want to.
Haemophilus announces new updates and what changes were made but didn't mention that the pinata party glitch had been patched.
At the time i was sitting out for a couple of weeks and didn't update so was able to take advantage of the pinata party glitch.
I had always assumed that while EA knew about the PPG they turned a blind eye to it as it still generated ad revenue for them and kept us slightly happier. Seems i was wrong😖
