- 6 years ago@MAGICDAVESHROOM I don't even have one for myself ☹️ sorry little cactus~~~ i hope you like hibernation in the cold during winter... the cactus guide on google says i should put you in the fridge to induce hibernation but i am just putting you in my room... xD

egads, so much effort for a mere 10 seeds to UNlock Blooming Heart !!
but finally, success this afternoon
I am now in reach of L5 Ultomato for both profiles !!
finally unlocked Blooming heart... I don't now if I could have stood the sight of the arena any longer. I'll give it some rest now and tackle jurassic levels.
I realise the more i want to unlock BH, the less likely i am going to unlock it.... x( so i am going to give up now and see where I am in a few days....

I do not get too much Blooming Heart seeds even when I grind Arena.. o_o >.>

After playing with it a bit I don't even know if it's worth it. It seems not to be a strong plant to me.

Oh no. No I made a little plant weep. How will I even sleep tonight...
Ok, but she is really cute. Perhaps I can level her a bit up. There. Are we feeling better now 😇?
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@Perfume-shroom92 I recall reading an article maybe 10 - 15 years ago that said while Americans keep their homes at 74F during the winter, folks on the British Isles tended to prefer temps closer to 62F. The article claimed not only was this a cost saving measure but y'all were less susceptible to colds and flu. Personally I think it's because you like to dress up in sweaters.

What's that in proper temperature? (Centigrade).
- MAGICDAVESHROOM6 years agoLegend
I didn't like blooming heart when it first came out and i think it could be a lot better if it causes splash damage as well as direct damage.
I think we are going to see more old premium plants being changed to seediums and used as tournament rewards in the future.
I don't have a problem with this as i think i currently have 135 plants (including powermints) in my almanac so there is a lot of overlap.
I think i spent around 400,000 coins upgrading blooming heart to m65 but i had to find out how far i could level her up to.
Unfortunately that 400,000 coins was the money i was saving for @Perfume-shroom92 's hot water bottle for her and her 🌵🌵🌵🌵.
Still, nearly spring now.
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@MAGICDAVESHROOM The proper temperature? You realize there are 2 kinds of people in the world, don't you? - Those who have been to the moon and those who use the metric system.
74F that's ~ 23°C, and 62F is ~17°C.... for people who measure in normal systems like metric ones 😇
- 6 years ago
@linuxPigPen In metric, one milliliter of water occupies one cubic centimeter, weighs one gram, and requires one calorie of energy to heat up by one degree centigrade - which is 1 percent of the difference between its freezing point and its boiling point. An amount of hydrogen weighing the same amount has exactly one mole of atoms in it. Whereas in the American system, the answer to "How much energy does it take to boil a room-temperature gallon of water?" is "Go f*ck yourself", because you can't directly relate any of those quantities.

@MAGICDAVESHROOMAwww....hugs water bottle.....the wind is howling out here right now...its freezing out there~~ i really do hope spring comes soon~~~ bbrrrrr.....
@linuxPigPen I am a creature that needs warmth~~~ so i don't like the cold that much. Or maybe its cause i stayed in a really crap student house one year and had almost froze to death...i mean the olive oil in the kitchen froze in that broken house!! I was never the same after....
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@PowerToss Yes it was an Aussie band who sang that memorable hit "I Would Walk 806 Kilometers. And who can forget that wonderful East German musical "Hedwig and the Angry Two Point Five Centimeters"?
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@Perfume-shroom92 How cold does the winter get there?
- MAGICDAVESHROOM6 years agoLegend
Scottish, not Aussie.
Personally I'm in favour of metric over imperial, the only thing it doesn't work for is the calendar.
- 6 years ago@linuxPigPen Seems to change all the time. That year in that broken house, it did went down to -5 degrees probably. I know its not as cold as over there. But in a crap house, it was the most miserable time of my life. Usually it hovers around 0-1 if its a good ish winter~~
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@MAGICDAVESHROOM I drove through Canada once awhile back and all their gas stations had signs that said although their gas prices looked higher we were getting a good deal because they were quoting in Imperial gallons. I call BS. 🙂
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@Perfume-shroom92 Believe it or not even down here in the deep south, we do occasionally get down to -5C. When I lived in New York, we went down to below 0 F. I don't even want to think what that would be in C.
- 6 years ago@linuxPigPen I don't want to think what that would be in C either....i used to like the cold~~ sigh.... now i am just shivering~ ahh.... give me a warm room any day~~
- MAGICDAVESHROOM6 years agoLegend
I have always found it confusing that a US gallon is smaller than an imperial gallon, the USA's🇺🇸 measurement system was copied from the UK,s🇬🇧.
Petrol in the is now sold in litres as it is supposed to look cheaper than the price per gallon.

According to my phone at 6pm gmt it is 12°c in the middle of England and 8°c in Austin, Texas where Lawfmw lives.
(54°f and 46°f).
