Just to update you, EA have rewarded me 200 EoN seeds for the issues I've had with PP, this is way more than I'd have got for being able to complete the challenges so I'm happy.
The bad news is they've awarded it to a profile name I don't use!!! I'm now trying to sort that out but I wanted to let you know that complaining works (sometimes!)
- @MortStella I have experienced that one time. They added Blooming Heart seeds to my unused profile. I have to mail them back to get back my seeds.

Thanks for the responses! I'm not sure I can cope with going through support... they stuff me around way too much the two times I've tried to seek help.

I've checked and both my profiles have been credited so I made 400 EoN seeds LOL!
TBH I've never found EAs solutions to tech problems ever work but they are usually fairly good at compensation 😁
- @MortStella They are indeed~~~~ I also got mines back but not to your amount. hahahahaha but i am happy still that I got those seeds. Now if next week is starfruit and this happens, i am not going to bother.... I don't even know how to use that plant properly other than feeding it to the zombies...
