I have played that level more than once and there aren’t any surfers on it.

I’m not sure if you’re sharing this to offer a possible insight into the solution (for someone else to offer) or if you are implying that I’m not having the error I’ve experienced twice (because you haven’t). If the latter, please kindly refrain from further comment on this thread.
When I try to play at the “one chili pepper” 🌶️selection in the second level this week there are surfers and the game crashes immediately. If someone knows why my level is “different” or if it’s not different but knows why it’s crashing—THAT would be very helpful. Thanks!
