@Perfume-shroom92 I'm getting bumped into Jade but I've still got 600 gems so I'm just going to buy 144 gauntlets and start swinging.
@linuxPigPen I need my gems to buy the pinatas to strengthen a lot of my plants....like a lot. I am getting annoyed by the weakness of some of them. Ah.....so this is unusual for everyone, that is good to know. Meanwhile as you get bumped up, I am going to see if I can bring myself back down to silver. I was in silver for months and then accidentally got into gold as my fellow players that week wasn't interested in ghost pepper week....and all I did the day the league change over was play my 2 free plays... sighh...
- @Perfume-shroom92 That's a good strategy. Unfortunately for me, it now takes about 40 pinatas to get the upgrades I want.
It's math again. For 150 gems I can get 11/2 pinatas - 360 seeds. If I buy gauntlets instead i usually get 50 mints and 500 seeds (of varying quality for sure though).- @linuxPigPen I have just only upgraded the fire plants this tourney.. the other plants need too much seeds to level up.
I need 30 seeds for a lv7 lily... but I have not seen any in 2 days. - @linuxPigPen Fortunately for me....my plants are so crap that using 100 gems to get 240 seed packets is like the most amazing thing ever...and the fastest way. I only started in July so I am such a newbie in terms of plant levels. I need to drop back to silver as I worked out gold is too competitive and if i want to get a significant amount of gems, i need to be in quite high positions which uses up gauntlets (which is also one of the things i am trying to save up). Hmm....i wonder how easy it is to drop down a league while still playing all the free plays one can get...probably not that easy o.o
- I've been dropping back to Silver for the boost tourns past 2 seasons. Then I stay there to rack up points toward getting featured plant in tourn of new season. It's a game of nerves. Never be too quick to get on the board. Wait till day changes so your 1st play (which you intentionally lose) counts to getting you your arena gems for the day. Then dont take your 2nd free play until everyone else already has at least 6 crowns. Then just use your free plays to stay in 13th place.
