Endless Zone Way Too Slow

If playing with 3 or 4 flags, endless play becomes unbearably slow. The slow down occurs when reaching the second flag. Speed mode does not fix this or change the rate of progression at all. Can be stuck on a level for hours if you’re dedicated. Otherwise, it takes days to get through the level. It stops being recreation and just becomes a grueling means to an end.
