@HenryThePear Maybe that's because you are on 8.4.2. I don't have any problem either.
I'm not sure if I will update the game right after the update is released. There are still quite a few bugs. The thing is that I don't want to miss any of the costumes in the new cycle...so I need someone to tell me what costumes are in the new shop =P

Hmm, I think @PowerToss has identified the root cause, it is the different between your game version and ours that might have caused this lagging/unresponsiveness.
