I saved up 10k gems from all the arena battles I've won, but now when each time I purchase the murkadamia nut for 10 gems, the next murkadamia nut pinata costs an additional 3 gems. This is a ripoff and I won't get my newest plant leveled u[ fast at this rate.
Update: it just disappeared from the store after I got to it costing about 180 gems. So now, I can't purchase anymore nut seed packets to upgrade it! What a ripoff!

And like I said, I put every ounce of strength and devotion just to max out the season-exclusive plants like Ghost Pepper and Holly Barrier. And you won't believe this, but I almost got all the seed packets for Hot Date and Gum Nut just to max them out, but I ran out of time.

@Cartoondude135 Of course it is a ripoff. I think there are lots of players would feel the same.
When the leveling system was introduced, the intention was not just to make the game easier for players who are struggling with standard (level1) plants, it was for selling the EAvil ideas to make players lazy to think and to use their gaming skills by offering an easy path to win the game by paying thus make more $$$ for the organization.
So please do not be surprised that with each updates there are more ways introduced to squeeze more $$$ out from us players.
