I entered this tournament using the same plant selection as the previous by accident but found out it was quite useful, I have had a few 3.9M games to begin with and once I got RNG on my side, 4M was quite EAsy. 👿

Not a fan of this arena either...i tried eieio's strat but it doesn't work.....
@Perfume-shroom92 My strategy was optimised for level 8 plants so might not work with level 7 plants. This is because you might not have enough firepower to get the plant food carrying zombie towards the last wave (in the last 15 second).
There is a better strategy than mine showed by ChopperVN with his level 6 plants on link below, please take note of the last 7 second, he actually launched a lawn mower to get a final plant food to push his score over the 4M barrier. A great inspiration!

That youtuber modified the scoring rules in many past arenas to get higher score: regular zombie started at 3000 points instead of 2500 in Jade and reaches 5000 points forever. He also added more zombies having plant food (You can watch the vid for low level plants where appease-mint low level can be activated the whole game and count how many plant foods did he use). Even in some arenas, I remember that He added more flying Zombies in Mammouth boss fight. For the vid 4m, only pea vine could not increase the ZDL such high. A lot of users reported or wrote comments. Now He change the Buffz coefficient, I think.

Yes, @PowerToss did and I too remember that tournament, it was quite EAvil for low level plants especially at level 1 for the high sun cost. By launching a lawn mower right at the start to lower the ZDL, this provides some valuable time required to build up a reasonable defence.
To me, however, the strategy employed by ChopperVN is slightly different, launching the lawn mower towards the end of the match to reach out for one additional plant food to apply on the imp pear, is an act of attacking whereas @PowerToss's strategy was forcing the system to release weaker zombies to make it easier for level 1 plants to setup a defence.

Thanks you for sharing these interesting insights, I recall someone did also say they modified the game to run at half speed, recorded the game and replay the video at double speed to make it look normal. Anyway, my normal go to channels are TheRealGamer, The MaruMari, and for entertainment, ZackScott. To be honest, I find sometimes these 'moders' videos still help to provide an inspiration for a good strategy, whether I can use it to reach their cheated score or not. 👿

3M is easily a good 10+ streak winning score, I would not see it as bad at all.
Just wondering how stable this strategy is for turbo play, will give it a try later.

TheRealGamer's profile suffers from the resource doubling bug (which is a well published bug) and as for ZackScott, at the time Head Butter Lettuce was first released, if you made an Early Access purchase (which I also did for my oldest profile), there was a glitch that it allowed you to claim the seed packages over and over again for a quite a large number of times, I know this because I too managed to get a M4 Head Butter Lettuce before the first time offer had expired. 👿

By launching the lawn mower to get the difficult plant food during the last 10 seconds, my level 8 profile can now compete with my mastery profiles, high and low.

..and right before the Pinata expires, put the Device in Airplane mode 😈
My timing as following:
- From level 7 PV TW can easily kill regular zombies at the beginning.
- I wait for each 2 or 3 zombies waves before using plant foods on Imp pear, especially for Gargantuars. Zombies are eating my infi-nut's shield then get pinned by Stickybomb Rice.
So I have enough plant foods toward the end. In the last 15s I have one to kill all-star having plant food.
- Imp pear is used to block shock waves but to force the zcorp chair racer zombies flying earlier.
I stop trying because I got that score 😀
