@BigBlueCollectiv All I can offer right now, is have you checked if your operating system is still supported? EA has dropped many older Apple systems. What is your OS? Do you have the latest update installed? A little info on the technical front will help somebody here point you to a solution better.
They also no longer support older android devices also, i have an old galaxy s2 mini running 4.4.2 kitkat (i love cake based operating systems) that could just about handle pvz2.
Since the last update it won't run and i don't have the option to go back to an earlier version.
Android 11 is Red Velvet cake.

@BigBlueCollectivProbably out of luck as even Apple stopped supporting that system in 2016. I just looked that up on Google.

If you have access to a pc you can download an emulator such as bluestacks and play pvz2 on your pc with a mouse, which is a bit weird.
You can even use your old account.
