I recently updated to 11.5.1 a couple of days ago and my phone LG V30 android Oreo is running very hot and occasionally hangs for a couple of seconds. No actual crashes yet, just freezing.

I think @eieio_31310 mentioned having overheating problems on his apple device in another thrEAd.
Interesting, so the issue is not iOS only. Some developer must have messed up very badly in this release.
