Lost all my progress - who to contact?

Yesterday I lost access to all my Plants vs Zombies 2 progress, which I have grinded for years. I guess this must have happened as a result of the ongoing update problem for Arena and Penny's Pursuit...

    If you signed up for EA's email registration scheme then you can get a unique code sent to your email address to restore your account from the backup servers.

    This takes about 5 minutes. 

    If you  have your player id number, you can contact EA HELP CENTER by tapping on help center at the bottom of this page.

    Please note that EA can't/ won't restore an account without your player id number so please screenshot it and keep it safe.

    If you have a new profile and can't get EA to recover your old one from the backup servers, they will add plants to your new startup account if you have proof of purchase from your purchase history.
