Did you ever manage to solve your problem? I am having this issue now. Years of playing this game and the stuff I have collected. All gone down the drain.
Nope, and there's no reply from EA as well, I've posted on this forum & by email, neither of them have any feedback or reply from EA, so I guess thats it.
