Week 295 Zomboss tournament
31M club is open for business
To get zomboss to 33 bonus score flips, I stun Zomboss at the start by dropping a Pea Vine onto the power tile with Torchwood on it (column 5, row 4). Will be aiming for 32M with my other mastery profiles.
With level 10 plants, it is easier to get to 34 Zomboss bonus score flips.
Both 32M and 33M clubs are open.....

Unlike the normal Arena matches where there is not enough Zombies to kill so with high level plants we could have killed them too fast and causing ZDL drops, this Zomboss match other the other hand, requires high attacking power to keep Zomboss to be stunned thus preventing him from doing his 'dance' annimations. With level 8 plants (or lower plant levels) we have to use the mint to boost the attacking power to achieve this and with level 10 plants, it is a little easier.
IF your focus is on the high score, then getting zomboss to the 33rd health bar by killing all the other zombies Appearing on the Arena ASAP should allow you to break 31M.
IF your focus is on the 34th health bar, you will need to focus on Zomboss, try to attack him and stop him from jumping around. I suggest try dropping Pea Vine onto the power tile and where he lands. I have quite a few 34th health bar games with only 31M by doing this.
Now the challenge is, try focus on for both the high score and he 34th health bar, this requires some RNG luck.
Week 296 tournament
This tournament seems to be favor high level plants. My level 1 profile was struggling to break 3M so I started this season in reverse order by playing with my mastery profiles first.
My L10 profile is joining the 13M club

This is the highest I have seen for this tournament so and doubt it could be matched (even by full M200 players).
You must have been keeping the ZDL high right from start to finish as with normal ZDL swings, 4M to 4.5M is the peak and 5M is already a rare RNG. I can try to aim for 5M tomorrow when I am playing with my high mastery profile but I do not think I can reach your 5.9M club.

I may post a video on Reddit.of my strategy. I'm usually over 5M with it, but 5.9 was definitely an anomaly. My previous high was 5.7M.
I've got a 5.6M run recorded, but missed getting a recording of the 5.9M run as I was interrupted mid match and had to pause it for a while.

Wow! This must be one of the top 10 best Arena achievement I have seen this year. Just be prepared that this might be a lonely club as many M200 enthusiasts cannot even reach the driveway let alone the front door. šæ
This weekend I shifted my focus to the Thyme Event as its seeds rewards are the ones I wanted. After seeing the extraordinary 6M score achieved by @Rackman70 I pull out my high mastery plants and gave it a try, for the first 3 rounds of 7-streaks, none of my score reach 5M (4.9M was the highest I got), I ether have been killing the zombies too fast and suffered the ZDL drop due to too many no zombies gaps or killing them too slow and failed to keep the ZDL high,
I re-select my load out and changed my strategy to have a better power balance by using Dandelion as it have a slow but constant damaging power. This time I could average 5M and so far peaked at 5.2M. I think I might be able to get it a little higher but I do not expect this is ever get to the 6M club.
Anyone else finding the Scaredy-shroom tourney horrifically RNG dependent? I'm getting 2M+ swings in scores (30% of score potential).
Yes, I have noticed the large variation in score with the same strategy.
I have had a go with my level 8 profile last night for 3 rounds of 7-streaks, the low was just a little over 4M and the high was 5.8M.
Finally made it into the 7m club. Scores have been variable 4m-6.8m.
Forgot to take results screenshot but did get the score on record.
I took a break from the food fight thyme event grinding and played a few rounds with my level 1 profiles, what I have noticed is that the swing in score is probably caused by Excavator zombie delaying/cancelling the attacking power from Appease-Mint plants combining the fluctuation of ZDL.
Congrats on the 13.8M score, I might have a go later with my mastery profiles and see if I can break 10M.
@Rackman70 I tried my mastery profiles and it is is indeed there seems to be a 'blockage' of zombies entering the Arena. The average is centered around 8M with the high being 10M+ and the low being 6M. It certainly is a very strange tournament we have for experienced.
With my L10 profile, I managed to break 10M after 3 rounds of 7-streaks.
With high mastery, I have only 2 games over 10M and the highest being less than 13M.
Zomboss tournament, finally got a 28m+ score.
Mainly 26m+, several 27m but only one 28m so far.
