My PvZ2 Account Was Lost "EA Support Failed to Provide a Real Solution"

I’m writing this post not to request further assistance, but to share my experience and warn other players who may find themselves in a similar situation.

My Plants vs. Zombies 2 account (Player ID: EJ90000) became inaccessible without notice. I submitted multiple support tickets via EA Help, provided every piece of relevant information (email, device, play history, etc.), and followed every instruction I was given.

Despite this, the responses I received from EA Support were frustratingly repetitive and generalized. Each reply felt like a reset — new agents, new ticket numbers, and no acknowledgment of previous conversations.

After weeks of trying, I came to realize that the support process wasn’t really designed to solve cases like mine. Instead, it left me with the impression that the system is structured to delay and deflect rather than resolve.

In the end, I was offered minor in-game compensation — which completely ignored the years of progress and time lost.

To be clear, I’m not posting this in hopes of recovering my account. I’ve accepted that it’s likely gone for good. But I want other players to be aware:

- If your account is lost, you may not get meaningful help.
- The support process may leave you more frustrated than when you started.
- It’s essential to back up your account data regularly — because EA may not be able (or willing) to recover it.

To EA: Your support system is failing and destroying player trust. Countless hours were spent building my account—if I thought it wouldn’t be protected, I wouldn’t have started. While monetizing characters is understandable, exploiting players without safeguarding accounts is unacceptable. Stop hiding incompetence behind trivial compensation and admit your account protection system has failed.

I completely agree. When the process keeps bouncing you between departments, it becomes incredibly draining.

If a case truly cannot be resolved, then please just be honest and acknowledge it — instead of making players go through endless loops.
