It just happened after I fought Zomboss this morning, I hope it's not a bug that messes up Penny permanently

Now that you have to defeat Zomboss fewer times I'm getting 5 gems consistently on the second difficulty, but also on the easiest one, seems that's my max (2 rows of SV, squash in the front, fill up the rest with BB and refresh appease-mint)
Yep. 5 gems is max for me as well. That's still 30 gems per day...I'm almost back to 1,000 gems after spending a couple of hundreds on the Gumnut pinata.
- I got at most 7 gems at the easiest difficulty with my 3p+torch setup.
I think apart from plant levels, luck also plays a big part, with level 1 plants, I only get 4 gems at best (on the easy level of course) and with high level plants (level 8+) and above I could get 7 gems on easy and mid settings, and 6 gems on hard (with the 7th appear sometimes just after time ends).
I choose to do the hard ones as they get me 11.1K coins + more seeds, worth the risk of one or two gems 👿
I played Big Pig on spicy. All I got was a lousy 1000 coins. Man, I had 4 columns of Lasers and was spamming Spear Mint like a madman. Guess I need a new strat.
@linuxPigPen I use Blowing Bulbs and Appeasemint as they have better chances to deal continuous damage to zomboss.
I use Blover to blow away the throw imps.
Are Blowing bulbs a new plant i don't have yet?

And when is that "Will you take our survey" banner going to Go away? I looked at the thing and the questions must have been designed by head in the sand engineers. I've found the new tac code to be more attuned to customer needs than that thing.

It might be nice if they actually create a plant called blowing bulb xDD hmmm....as long as it doesn't require clicking....
- @Perfume-shroom92 Now come on! Use your imagination and invent some properties for "Blowing Bulb" as you envision it. Make up some educated guess about what it could do. Be as crazy as you like (or are). 🙂

I take it this is because you are using a laptop? if so an Asus Zenbook 14 laptop has a touchscreen and can be used in a similar way as an iPad.

- @eieio_31310 I only have a laptop and a phone. For some reason, just don't see myself having more than 2 devices... i know it can be handy, but i just like a laptop. I did have a laptop that can function like a tablet some ancient time ago but the memory was really small. I can't do clicking because my mind wander... i need plants that can just do their thing without me doing more things to launch it xDD

You'll need a special screen/smartphone/tablet, but the harder you blow on it, the stronger the plant attack will get

I like your suggestion a lot as this not only gives the game a new dimension but helps to prepare players for a Spirometry test!

Blowing bulb, once planted will slowly expand and exhale making a large raspberry noise blowing any Zombie in it's lane back to column 9 like hurrikale but without chilling every 15 seconds.
- @Perfume-shroom92 I've got it! Blowing Bulb requires purchase of a special tube (ala Stephen Hawking) available in the store for 63 purchases of 25 gems. With this device, your mouth could take the place of your finger while playing.
The LinuxPigPeony, this delicate little flower looks and acts like a cold snapdragon but when fed with chili bean emits a 3x3 stunning cloud of fart gas.

Incredibly, the Blowing Bulb already exists in nature! It is the seed pod of Hura Crepitans also known as the sandbox tree or dynamite tree. It's large poisonous fruit balls explode at speeds measured up to 250 kph causing the seeds to disperse up to 100 metres away from the tree.
