Why is your jack o'lantern pretending to be pumpkin?
huh - so mitlevel is actually easier? Thank you - I'l try when I have 5 sprit again.
Stick to 🌶 on those cannonball levels if they give you trouble, they are the easiest.
I found it took 3x hits with a cannonball to kill zombies on🌶🌶 so i went back to 🌶 just to get through the level with my level 1 plants, i only needed 100x pumpkin seeds for my level 1 profile and the actual zomboss level didn't give me any problems on 🌶🌶 with my level 1 profile.
Penny's pursuit definitely favours higher level players, i used the same peanut/ reinforcemint/ blover strategy against zomboss but i could almost fill the lawn with max level peanuts and could only start with 10x peanuts against zomboss.
M80 peanut could kill zomboss the required 5 times in a minute easily but it took level 1 peanut 2-3 minutes and i filled the back row with apple mortars for their stunning effect as i got more sun🌞.

I'm playing 🌶🌶 zomboss because i want 15x pumpkin seeds.
You should decide if you want 10x apple mortar seeds, 15x pumpkin seeds or 20x goo peashooter seeds and choose.

I found it was easier on mid level. At low level I really had to work with the score multiplier to get it to x2 or x3 and don't lose the multiplier to quickly. Did it work for you?

Another plant shiny in the Almanac, thanks to Penny's Pursuit. Plants that aren't shiny yet: Ice Bloom, Electrici-tea, Conceal-mint, Bombard-mint, Enlighten-mint, Hot Date, and Strawburst. Edit: And Puffball ☹️

- @HypnoDjurre Last time I got one of those was Pirate level 3 the first week I installed the game.
- Hi, I don't understand the penny's bonus progress. Each time I restart the game I lose my progress (X/112). Some time I come back to 0 and some time I just lose some points (for example It goes from 8 to 6). I read that the progress should only be reseted at each new event and not during an event. Maybe I'm wrong so I search for a logic here...
@Arbrevivant The progress should be remembered until the event ends but sadly this new game mode was released with Alzheimer's disease showing up on some players gaming devices. Brainz.....
So the logic here is EA has released a buggy game.👿
Finally found a level 1 strat for penny's pursuit (trying to avoid premium plants), plants cost so much though i keep on running out of sun for blover.
Used sunbank, bass boost and boss blaster perks at a cost of 10 gems.
Level 1 squash is pretty useless and shine vine+ enlightenmint would probably do better.
Every time you plant blover/ reinforcemint you refresh infi-nut's force field, get peanut to spew peas and blow away those zombies so zomboss can't hide. There's plenty of plantfood from dead zombies.
- @eieio_31310 I have only just read your comment and have to say i love it xDDD my game mode's alzheimer's disease have now resolved, maybe because it got some medicine from the new update.
@MAGICDAVESHROOM Bowling Bulb. Tile Turnip and Gravebuster work at extra spicy difficulty for level 1 plants 👿

Nice video by the way. I use the similar (TT and BB) load out but with Reinforcemint or Appeasemint instead of Gravebuster.
@Perfume-shroom92 That is good news, how about the auto complete bug? has this been cleared also or are you just using it to your advantage to skip the cannon and seagulls levels?
- @eieio_31310 Nope...the auto complete bug is still here.... as of now, i am just repeating extra spicy level 1.... xDDD after i grab all my pumpkin seeds... The last time so many levels appear, i only play easy so all the 2nd and 3rd spicy levels are not filled up. But i guess the next time a similar number of levels appear, all my progress will fill up except the last few levels (those currently offering goopy seeds..)... i tried the cannon seagull level and got mad... -.-

I just wanted to see if you can defeat the Zomboss with just World Plants and didn't know what else to pick^^
I usually use R-mint and Appease-mint, too. Shine Vine is also great with TT. The Bass Blast Perk is just a little OP in combination with Blover.
@Perfume-shroom92 @eieio_31310 I am not sure if this is working for you but some people have gotten rid of the auto complete bug by turning the airplane mode on before playing or stop playing on other devices. IIRC this bug happened to multi device users
- @HenryThePear The fact is...i only play Psp on one device...., which is bluestacks on my laptop. I don't generally use my phone to play pvz2 other than the free play in arena.... and i don't think airplane mode exists on my laptop... well maybe it does but mweh.... i am too lazy to turn my internet on and off... xD i am a lazy shroom that just wants to sleep...zzzz.....
@HenryThePear I only play on one iPhone and the old phones are not even powered on (batteries drained).
My guess is the many profiles (38 on my last count and increasing as sometimes when I switch between profiles, a new one is created) I have on my account which might have caused the problem. I am slowly getting used to missing out the 1st play rewards but in return I get to save some PP fuels and time so the lost the bearable.

Using this strategy for the new Penny Zomboss
With lvl7's I defeat Zomboss after 1 minute (two chillies) and get 5 extra gems (with Boss Buster perk at lvl1)

Saw this info on Reddit, a PF'd Pumpkin stops Zomboss from charging, the armor is destroyed but the Pumpkin survives
Been a while since I grinded dilligently, but today I can play Penny's Zomboss twice (by that I mean, 6 times). I wonder if it's been this way for some time, or it's just a (lucky) bug on my part.

@HypnoDjurre1337 i noticed this as well, the armour on two pumpkins is destroyed but zomboss doesn't get past.
@ForestOutlook i remember an old penny's pursuit where you could also play it twice daily, at the moment I'm just playing a match a day to get the quest gems as i don't want or need blooming heart seeds.
@MAGICDAVESHROOMI remember that one too, I guess, when the devs were experimenting Penny's Zomboss to be playable twice a day, but eventually back to only once. And yeah, I wish it happened when it's still rewarding Pumpkin, not that excited for Blooming Heart as well. Anyway, maybe it's only a bug for today.
