@tommystarman I still don't completely understand why it's not working...since your progress is saved locally on your device. So if you have an old backup from 2019 this backup should theoretically contain the progress you had at that point. Only if you are connected to the internet this progress file will be overwritten. I might be wrong but in theory and from my understanding of backups this should work.
- Connect your device to your computer
- Open iTunes and restore your phone from the old backup of 2019
- Turn off internet connection (Airplane mode and WiFi turned off)
- Open the PvZ2 App
You should now have the profile you had in 2019.
I'm with PowerToss on this, i would presume that if there's a duff server(s) then they would have been replaced weeks ago when this started happening and you should be able to use your old profile so you would have only lost the resources from between then and now.
- @MAGICDAVESHROOM @PowerToss funny thing is, ea claims they can't find my player ID and I also gave them both and my registered email!
Neither myself or PowerToss know why EA HELP CENTER service sux, they've been telling us for years that they need the ORIGINAL player id number to restore a lost account so why they have started telling some players who have this important number they can't do so or provide a reasonable explanation for is something you should keep on asking them.
- @MAGICDAVESHROOM I gave them my player ID and they said no data was found, seems fishy! If I can provide them screenshots back to pokra they should be able to see that I am highly leveled up and I had all my worlds completed except neon, I just don't know why they can't nor won't do it, I even got last weeks screenshot of my mints, money and diamonds! I'm so frustrated,I'm currently doing a back up of my iPhone 8 Plus to see if I put the old backup on again without wifi or data if it actually loads my progress, but I have a feeling it will not :/
