Just double-checking, the Pumpkin (vine) event hasn't started yet, has it?
Imp Pear, there wasn't an opportunity for me to get seeds, & I would hate to miss out on ole Punkin, who I quite liked in the first PvZ.

So...a new pumpkin is happening a week after Halloween. The jack’o’lantern is getting crazy seed packets for wins in Arena but is no longer available to purchase the week of Halloween. I’m confused.
True, you bank every seed packet you get regardless of weather or not you’ve paid for it. I got so many jack’o’lantern packets I was going to spend the $5 to see what level id gotten up to only to find I missed it when it’s still Halloween week. Then I saw the pumpkin in the almanac and got confused about the timing of it all. Aw well, I snooze I loose I suppose.
I do believe I've heard that Pumpkin is the next Season Plant. After Pyre Vine's season ends, Pumpkin's will start, which will also coincide with Food Fight (PVZ2's Thanksgiving event). Pumpkin has probably appeared in the Almanac early because ever since Blastberry Vine, they've been providing "Early Access Bundles", which let you straight-up buy the Season Plant and immediately get it unlocked, instead of having to build up a tournament Season score.
Me, I'm just going to wait and get it for free from the scoreboard. I'm sooner interested in Parsnip, which should become available to buy during Food Fight. It'll be great to have another melee attacker to join up with Bonk Choy, Wasabi Whip and Pokra. If they would add 1 more (or perhaps I'm forgetting one), you could have one different melee attacker per lane. XD
