PVZ 2 Crashes are endless!

Seriously. It used to be the car ad that crashed the game. Now it crashes everywhere at anytime. Just crashed as I was picking plants for the arena challenge, wasting a gauntlet spent - which was the 4th crash this morning. I have played since it was created, but this is going to convince me to move on.

Crashes about every third time in arena. I lose my gauntlet and progress.
This happens only on my iPad Pro.

I hv the same problem. It’s only getting worse. So frustrating!

Having a similar issue where the game crashes when selecting game mode, any ideas how to fix?
I've restarted my phone, the app, reinstalled the app, deleted cache and data and same issue whenever I log in through my account. I'm on android. Hope someone can help.
