If you sign up to EA's email registration scheme you can enter a unique code to restore your account with it's current progress.
I know pvz2 will not work on old versions of ios anymore or android kit kat (no, I didn't eat an entire operating system because it's made of chocolate covered wafers).
My mother has an old ipad mini and a lot of new apps need ios 13, hers won't install that.
I had a problem with repeated crashing in arena on my new smartphone, I used my old phone (android quiche) and had no problems.
Pvz2 does regular data pushes which I think helps solve some problems. I also run occasional maintenance programs and reboot my phones occasionally, it helps keeping them running smoothly.
Hopefully EA sees this and sends a data update soon. I also sent a ticket to EA Help about this issue.
I have also reported the issue but I suspect it will be a while before it’s fixed or a receive a reply from them
It seems this will never be fixed and we gonna lose more gauntlets and the plant itself this way and there is no way to transfer data between iOS and Android so we can at least play the game on another Android device.
I have had a response from EA.
They have recommended the usual things such as rebooting etc
I have informed them that this issue is something they need to sort not the players of the game.
Ditto! Un-install then re-install, turn off device, all updates done for game and device. Now I’m getting kicked out of Penny Pursuit challenge. This is beyond not being able to play the game, it’s frustrating.
