PVZ 2 Freezing after purchase

I recently purchased jack-o'-lantern for pvz2 and since my purchase the game freezes everytime it tries to 'restore my purchases' and now when I boot it up it's just a frozen screen with the pvz logo on it and won't start up.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it does not work. I basically spent 5 pound to be unable to play the game anymore.
